About OpenVoy

We build the system we wanted to hire

OpenVoy is an operations system for tour operators — the place a travel request lives from the first message to the final invoice. It exists because we spent a decade watching good agencies lose good trips to admin.

Why it exists

It started as a complaint

I'm Edgar Fluijt. Dutch, based in Berlin, working in travel since 2015 — I built and led the marketing team at TripMe, now TravelLocal, and I run Marqetlife, a growth agency for travel companies.

That work meant sitting inside a lot of agencies while they sold trips. The pattern never changed. The marketing worked, the travel requests arrived — and then they went into a CRM that had never heard of an itinerary, a spreadsheet nobody but one person could edit, and an inbox where follow-ups quietly died. Good agencies were losing trips they had already paid to win.

Every tool we tried was built for software sales and bent into shape afterwards. So we started building the one we actually wanted: travel-shaped from the first table in the database.

It is still built by the people who sat in those agencies. The person you meet on the demo is the person doing the work, and the one who answers when something breaks.

The goal has not changed since. Make running a travel agency as effective as it can possibly be.

What to expect

What working with us looks like

  • You meet the person who builds it

The demo, the setup and the answer to the question you have on a Tuesday afternoon all come from the same small team — people who have worked in travel since 2015.

  • Running in your first week

We move your existing trips and travellers across with you, on the call. You should be working your own requests through it the same week, not reading documentation.

  • A direct line to the people doing the work

You reach us by mail, or on whichever tool your team already uses, and the reply comes from the person who wrote the thing you are asking about.

  • Your idea can ship this month

There is an ideas box inside the product and we read every submission. Being small is the whole advantage: a good one reaches you in weeks, not next year.

  • We build the funnels with you

Destination pages and request forms designed, built and hosted by us, wired straight into your pipeline so a submitted form arrives as a deal.

  • Travel only, and staying that way

Travel is the only sector we work in, and the only one we intend to. Every table in the database already assumes a trip, a party and a departure date.

  • The work continues after launch

Onboarding is the start of it. What you tell us in month six shapes the product the same way the first conversation did.

  • Your data leaves when you do

Your travellers, your requests, your trips — yours to export whenever you want. Isolated per agency, and we do not sell it, mine it, or train anything on it.

The next step

Talk to the people who build it.

You get someone who builds OpenVoy, on the first call and every one after it. Tell us how your week runs and we will tell you straight whether OpenVoy fits it.
